Infosys is hiring an Assistant General Counsel to join their office in Bengaluru East.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a highly effective and motivated team to globally lead the Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery program.
- Demonstrate leadership skills to navigate complex regulatory environments and business models with a grasp of digitized systems and processes to implement technology-based compliance solutions.
- Own, implement, and adopt the Compliance and Integrity Plan with global and regional reach comprising seven pillars of an effective corporate compliance program.
- Provide opinions on applicable regulations with preferred experience of FCPA, UKBA, and other anti-corruption regulations, including underlying controls and monitoring.
- Achieve corporate compliance operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to the Compliance and Integrity Plan and its reviews, preparing and completing action plans, resolving problems, identifying trends, determining system improvements, and implementing changes.
- Demonstrate exposure and understanding of key compliance and regulatory regimes, including Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trust, Confidentiality, and related processes and controls.
- Exposure to analytics and automation for risk evaluation and mitigation is an added benefit.
- Review and improve whistleblower systems and employee feedback mechanisms in collaboration with HR.
- Provide advice on compliance topics to local stakeholders.
- Interpret new regulations and laws by reviewing and analyzing proposed and adopted legislation and regulations.
- Drive policy administration, training, and regular communications.
- Handle complaints, investigations, and remediation processes effectively.
- Collaborate with functions such as facilities and infrastructure, government relations, finance, HR, and sales and delivery teams to support expansion objectives.
- Advise on public policy in coordination with the government relations team.
