LatestLaws.com is hiring an Associate Editor with experience of relevant years to join their office in Delhi.

Role and Responsibilities

• Analyze judgments and orders from the Supreme Court, High Courts, and various Tribunals.
• Prepare specialized headnotes for judicial decisions following the platform's specific style and format.
• Monitor changes in policy, laws, and amendments, including the issuance of new notifications and circulars.
• Write well-researched articles, columns, and papers on relevant legal and contemporary issues.
• Report on legal news and current affairs, highlighting complexities and potential ramifications.
• Interact with senior officials from law schools, companies, and judicial authorities.
• Review and update website content regularly to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Assist in organizing professional events such as moot court competitions and webinars.
• Manage and mentor a team of interns and campus ambassadors.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to identify promotional opportunities for legal content.

Eligibility

• Law graduate or post-graduate from a recognized institution.
• Full-time commitment to the association with LatestLaws.com.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.
• Strong comprehending and drafting skills with an ability to simplify complex legal language.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, and internet research.
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and perform well under tight deadlines.
• Preferred: Candidates with prior exposure to editorial assignments.
• Preferred: Demonstrated interest in working across a wide gamut of laws.
