Details of the Job/Internship
EQUILEX is hiring for multiple roles within its Restructuring & Insolvency team with experience of 3–6 years.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal advisory services on restructuring and insolvency matters.
- Draft and review complex transactional documentation related to banking and finance.
- Manage litigation matters specifically focused on banking and insolvency before various judicial forums.
- Navigate proceedings under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) for both creditors and debtors.
- Conduct detailed legal research on financial regulations and evolving judicial precedents.
- Assist in the structuring of debt resolution plans and corporate restructuring strategies.
- Represent the firm's clients in high-stakes negotiations and courtroom arguments.
- Coordinate with financial experts and resolution professionals to ensure seamless case management.
Eligibility
- 3–6 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in Restructuring and Insolvency.
- Strong background in Banking Law and litigation.
- Demonstrated expertise in the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC).
- Proven experience in handling both transactional documentation and courtroom advocacy.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills within the financial legal sector.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced legal environment.
