Details of the Job/Internship

Flicka Cosmetics is hiring an In-House Lawyer with experience of 4+ years to join their office in Goregaon, Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage all legal and regulatory compliance related to cosmetics manufacturing, labeling, and marketing operations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a diverse range of commercial agreements, including vendor, distributor, and agency contracts.
• Ensure product labeling and advertising claims meet consumer protection laws and industry-specific standards.
• Handle company secretarial and statutory filings in coordination with external consultants.
• Manage legal documentation, including the renewal of licenses, registrations, and official approvals.
• Coordinate litigation efforts, handle legal notices, and manage consumer complaints or recovery matters.
• Support the HR department on employment policies, disciplinary actions, and labor law compliance.
• Advise management on potential legal risks and provide training to internal teams on compliance standards.

Eligibility

• LLB / LLM from a recognized university.
• 4+ years of experience in a corporate legal or in-house counsel role.
• Strong knowledge of Indian corporate laws, contract law, and labor regulations.
• Preferred: Prior experience in the FMCG, Cosmetics, or Manufacturing sectors.
• Preferred: Specialized knowledge of Drugs & Cosmetics regulations and Intellectual Property (IP) matters.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
• Practical problem-solving approach with a strong focus on business objectives.
