Details of the Job/Internship
Global Japan AAP Consulting Private Limited is hiring a Senior Labour Law Consultant with 8+ years of experience to join its Management Consulting team in Delhi, Bangalore, or Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise clients on legal implications of business structures and transition to India’s new labour codes.
- Draft and review employee handbooks and standing orders aligned with Indian laws and Japanese corporate practices.
- Conduct compliance audits and develop risk mitigation strategies, especially for contract labour management.
- Handle industrial relations matters, including dispute resolution and conciliation proceedings.
- Provide clear and structured guidance to Japanese clients on Indian regulatory frameworks.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a reputed university; MBA in HR is an added advantage.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in labour law practice or consulting.
- 3–5 years of experience working with Japanese clients.
- Strong knowledge of Labour Codes, Factories Act, Industrial Disputes Act, Contract Labour Act, and POSH.
- Excellent communication skills and high cultural awareness.
