Legal Associate

Company: Blue Cloud Softech Solutions

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India (In-office)

Position Type: Full-time

We are looking for two passionate, highly driven, and detail-oriented Legal Associates to join our in-house legal team at our Hyderabad headquarters. This position is built for an ambitious junior legal professional with a strong fire to learn, a high-ownership mindset, and the resilience to thrive in a high-octane, fast-paced commercial setting. Role and Responsibilities

Document Vetting & Contract Review: Review, vet, and proofread commercial agreements (MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, Vendor Contracts, Licensing, SaaS, and IP Transfer Agreements) with high speed and accuracy to mitigate legal, financial, and proprietary risks.
Intellectual Property (IP) Management: Support the vetting, registration, and protection of company IP assets (trademarks, copyrights, software code, trade secrets, and proprietary tech); review IP ownership and assignment clauses across vendor and client contracts.
Drafting & Documentation: Draft standard contracts, formal legal notices, addendums, IP assignment deeds, and corporate communications under supervision.
Agile Cross-Functional Support: Partner closely with Sales, Software Development, HR, Procurement, and Operations teams to deliver swift, practical legal solutions in a high-throughput environment.
Compliance & Record Management: Maintain, organize, and manage the company’s repository of contracts, IP filings, corporate records, and legal files using modern document management practices.
Legal Research: Conduct thorough research on statutory regulations, corporate laws, AI and IT laws, IP regulations, and global compliance frameworks as required by business operations.
Process Improvement: Actively contribute to building faster legal workflows, updating contract templates, maintaining tracking dashboards, and refining internal playbooks.

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognised institution (diploma in IP Law is a plus).
1–2 years of relevant experience in an in-house corporate legal department or a reputable law firm.
Drive & Mindset: Highly passionate about corporate law and technology; self-motivated, proactive, and energized by solving complex problems in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
Document Vetting & IP Knowledge: Proven expertise in meticulous document scrutiny, contract redlining, and a strong foundational understanding of Intellectual Property (IP) protection and licensing.
Microsoft Office & Tech Proficiency: Hands-on expertise with the full MS Office suite.
Flexibility & Ownership: Strong bias for action with a "get-it-done" attitude, ready to take complete ownership and adapt working hours to meet critical business demands.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English skills, with the ability to summarize complex legal concepts in simple, business-friendly terms.
