Details of the Job/Internship

Simeio is hiring a Legal Associate with experience of 0–2 years to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the contract lifecycle management software and ensure strict contract compliance.
• Draft and review a wide range of commercial agreements, including MSAs, SaaS agreements, and software licenses.
• Assist with company secretarial compliance and prepare detailed reports on contract risks and legal team SLAs.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with the latest international laws.
• Review internal company policies and guidelines from a legal perspective to mitigate organizational risk.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments for necessary approvals and policy adherence.
• Manage the execution and signing of legal documents and follow up on post-execution formalities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas to reduce turnaround times.

Eligibility

• LLB degree in any specialization; LLM is preferred.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience, with some background in a law firm being highly desirable.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to work with and influence senior-level and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• High degree of attention to detail and ability to operate with accuracy under tight deadlines.
• Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with external clients and colleagues.
