Details of the Job/Internship

Pilgrim is hiring a Legal Manager with experience of 4–8 years to join their office in Andheri, Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure end-to-end compliance with the Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI, and other applicable statutory regulations.
• Manage board meetings, including the preparation of agendas, minutes, and maintenance of statutory registers.
• Draft, review, and vet a wide range of legal documents, including NDAs, vendor contracts, and commercial agreements.
• Lead risk identification and mitigation efforts across all corporate agreements and legal processes.
• Support fundraising activities and audits by managing comprehensive investor due diligence processes.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel for dispute resolution, legal notices, and specialized advisory.
• Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and Operations to ensure organization-wide regulatory adherence.
• Maintain structured legal dashboards and reporting systems to track compliance renewals and licenses.

Eligibility

• Qualified Company Secretary (ICSI) is mandatory.
• LL.B. degree is highly preferred.
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in both secretarial and legal functions.
• Strong understanding of corporate laws, compliance frameworks, and governance standards.
• Excellent drafting skills and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• High degree of attention to detail and experience in handling confidential corporate matters.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high ownership.
