Taxscan Media (Taxscan Edutech Private Limited) is an online news portal for reporting all news, articles, judgments, Circulars, orders and notifications relating to Taxation Laws in India. We use the tagline ‘Simplifying Tax Laws’. Our mission is to Simplify the Tax Laws and make people aware of their rights and duties in relation to tax matters in order to equip them to participate in nation-building. Tax Scan is a team of young professionals turned to legal journalists to provide a one-stop for all the Taxation Law resources for Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, Sales Tax Practitioners, Law Students, Tax Professors / Teachers, Law Officers of Various companies/firms, and all other private Tax practitioners. Rasheela Basheer – Co-Founder & Editor An Advocate in Taxation, practised in Tribunals as well as High Court of Kerala.
She has recently pursued LLM in Taxation and successfully completed National Eligibility Test (NET).

Details of the Job/Internship
TAXSCAN is a Content Curation Platform and Continuing Education Platform for Finance and Tax Professionals and Fintech Ecosystem. We provide access to all Judgments, Orders, Notifications, Circulars from Supreme Court, High Courts, Income Tax Tribunals, CESTATs, Advance Ruling Authorities, and Central & State Departments. TAXSCAN was established in 2017 by a group of Lawyers and IT Professionals.
Role and Responsibilities
- Report tax judgments of Supreme Court, High Courts, ITAT, CESTAT, AAR, AAAR
- Report notifications, circulars.. etc related to tax, finance and industry and commerce related.
- Article writing on tax areas.
- Research
- Related works allocated by the senior.
- Very dedicated and passionate in legal content writing
Eligibility
- Currently pursuing (in 5 year LLB- 4th and 5th year preferred and in 3 year LLB, 2nd and 3rd year preferred) or recently completed a degree in Law.
- Strong writing and editing skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to research and synthesize complex legal and tax information into clear, accessible content.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- An attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt continuously.
- Active team participation and collaboration.
